This week I’m talking about motility, and what that means is the time that it takes for your food from when you put it in your mouth for it to actually go through your body get fully broken down and then what isn’t needed to come back out. This is really important to understand because when food stays in our body for too long, and our motility is really slow, it actually starts to ferment in our stomach and putrefy and that can cause bloating and gas, and other digestive issues.
